So, for the first time since I started the comic in October of 2008, I've started flat-out missing posts, mostly due to having three part-time jobs and (until last week) quadruple-speed summer courses to finish off my undergrad. You guys have been awesome readers, and I've decided to step up the writing again to make sure you get your tri-weekly dose of arrrr!-cynic (it's a drug I made up that involves cynicism and pirates). I'll be tightening my game and trying to get the posts out on time. Thanks for sticking with me.
Also, today is the one year anniversary of "The Black Ship Batrachian," the RPC forum! Please come celebrate with us!

The winners of the "In Capitalist America" contest have been announced! I have so many people to thank for making "IN CAPITALIST AMERICA" Contest into something awesome. Thanks to our three finalists: TurtleMidget, who's winning the big prize of $50 in store merch for the comic above; and metalmufin (...bank robs you) and Mithras (...roadside attractions are disappointed by you.), who are scoring $10 $20 each in free swag for their honourable mentions (I decided the $10 was too little). Also, major thanks to everyone who submitted! It's totally worth reading all of the entries, especially the short-list. The judges are awesome too (see below)!
